Approach to Sustainability Management
The Gazprom Group’s mission in the area of sustainable development is to make a positive contribution to the social and economic development of Russia and other regions of operation in line with environmental and social responsibility standards, so as to preserve and enhance the opportunities for future generations while meeting the needs of today.

Sustainability activities are governed by a number of key strategic documents of PJSC Gazprom, a full list of which is available on the Company’s website.
The Gazprom Group’s sustainability progress is monitored against KPIs that are used for planning the operations of PJSC Gazprom, its subsidiaries and entities.
In 2023, PJSC Gazprom approved the List of the Gazprom Group’s Sustainability Indicators by Order No. 354 dated September 21, 2023.

Finalist of the Our Contribution National Award
In 2025, PJSC Gazprom ranked among the top five in the State Corporations and State Companies category and was named a finalist of the Our Contribution National Award, reaffirming its status as the National Projects Partner. The prize recognizes business and non-profit organizations’ contributions to achieving national development goals and implementing national project objectives.
Gazprom Group entities consistently rank among the leaders of the national Ecology. Personnel. State (EPS) Rating, a comprehensive assessment of companies’ reliability and social and environmental responsibility. In December 2025, two Gazprom Group entities once again achieved leading positions:
- Gazprom Transgaz Surgut ranked first in the overall EPS rating.
- Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg ranked second in the Personnel category and placed in the top ten overall.
PJSC Gazprom regularly participates in the Responsible Business Leadership National Award, affirming its contribution to societal development — creating a favorable social and natural environment, advancing the country’s sustainable development, and supporting the achievement of national goals.
