The Gazprom Group expenditures on occupational health and industrial safety include costs for HIF maintenance, periodic medical examinations of employees, procurement and maintenance of workwear, safety footwear, and other PPE, provision of milk and preventive nutrition, training and professional development, as well as ensuring sanitary and epidemiological conditions for safe stay at production facilities, buildings, and structures of the Gazprom Group. The rise in occupational health spending reflects higher costs for workplace improvement measures.

Following incident investigations and root cause analysis, action plans are developed to reduce the risk of further incidents within the Gazprom Group.

In 2025, the injury frequency rate went down by 16.4% due to a reduction in the number of injured persons compared to 2024. The injury severity rate decreased by 11.2% due to a reduction in the number of fatalities and fewer work days lost among injured employees.

The causes of fatalities in the reporting year included road traffic accidents, acute poisoning from exposure to harmful substances, and electric shock.

Lost time injury frequency rate (LTIFR)The indicator value for 2023 is due to two fatalities as a result of work-related injuries against a relatively low headcount of Gazprom GNP Holding’s companies (9,161 employees as of December 31, 2023)., Gazprom Group

The higher FAR at Gazprom Mezhregiongaz and Gazprom Energoholding in 2025 is due to a rise in the number of fatalities resulting from incidents.

Differences in the numbers of injured male and female workers are due to the statistical difference between women and men working at hazardous industrial facilities.

To enhance its process safety, Gazprom conducts special labor conditions assessments (SLCA) and ongoing monitoring of working conditions.

The occupational health services of PJSC Gazprom’s perform SLCA at least once in every five yearsPursuant to Federal Law No. 426-FZ On Special Assessment of Labor Conditions dated December 28, 2013.. The expert organizations included in the relevant register identify working environment and working process factors, and assess their impact on employees.

Operational control over working conditions is carried out annually by industrial sanitation laboratories of PJSC Gazprom’s subsidiaries and entities, and certified third-party laboratories. They identify harmful and/or hazardous workplace factors (if any) and their impact on employees’ health.

• at gas business companies – at 39,503 workplaces (52,659 employees);
• at Gazprom Mezhregiongaz – at 16,965 workplaces;
• at Gazprom GNP Holding – at 4,264 workplaces;
• at Gazprom Neft – at 18,743 workplaces;
• at Gazprom Energoholding – at 5,010 workplaces.

Based on SLCA and operational control results, annual updates are made to programs for improving labor conditions, and the following steps are taken:

• informing employees about the identified harmful and/or hazardous workplace factors at production sites;
• developing and implementing measures to improve working conditions, including the provision of personal and collective protective equipment;
• conducting mandatory preliminary and periodic medical check-ups.

In 2025, 13Two persons are employees of Gazenergoservis (part of Gazprom Energoholding), which is not covered by the ISPSM. employees of the Gazprom Group were first diagnosed with chronic occupational diseases.

Whenever an occupational disease is confirmed, the Group conducts an investigation to identify the causes and develop and adopt relevant prevention measures.

Occupational disease prevention measures

• Mechanization and automation of production, ensuring remote control;
• assessment and management of occupational risks;
• control over workplace conditions and implementation of measures for their improvement;
• informing employees about the identified harmful and/or hazardous workplace factors at production sites;
• providing employees with modern and effective personal and collective protective equipment;
• mandatory medical check-ups;
• medical screening, monitoring, and preventive health examinations;
• programs to prevent occupational diseases;
• health resort treatment and employee vacations.

In 2025, the occupational disease rate in the Gazprom Group’s gas business companies decreased by 31.0% due to a lower number of employees first diagnosed with occupational diseases.

In 2025, Gazprom implemented a comprehensive road safety program that included monitoring preventive measures and traffic safety interaction procedures, quarterly meetings with PJSC Gazprom subsidiaries and entities, and deploying transport monitoring based on GLONASS and the Monitor.3S information system.

In addition, the Company developed technical requirements for active driver safety systems, introduced administrative offense tracking, strengthened oversight over transport operators, and updated the Comprehensive Accident Prevention Plan with stricter requirements for third‑party vehicles.

Furthermore, the Company prepared training and methodological materials, arranged psychological counseling for drivers, and ran road accident response drills jointly with emergency rescue services and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. Drivers from PJSC Gazprom’s subsidiaries and entities received state honorary badges for accident‑free driving.
