Delivered significant results in implementing massive gas infrastructure expansion programs in Russian regions
In 2025, PJSC Gazprom completed its 2021–2025 Gas Supply Development and Gas Infrastructure Expansion Programs across 72 Russian regions. Over the five-year period, 2,150 localities were connected to the gas grid, including 370 in 2025. Programs for the new five-year period of 2026–2030 have been approved.
Continued developing Russia’s Unified Gas Supply System in the south and northwest
In the reporting year, PJSC Gazprom completed a crucial phase of a major investment project to expand the gas transmission system in southern Russia. Four new sections of the Pochinki—Anapa gas trunkline, with a total length of over 600 km, came on stream. They run through the Saratov and Volgograd Regions. These new sections have made gas supplies to the Russian regions within the Southern and North Caucasian Federal Districts more reliable.
Actively advanced a strategic project to connect the gas supply system in Russia’s East with that in the European part of the country
As part of the Eastern Gas Supply System gas trunkline system project, PJSC Gazprom is comprehensively developing gas transmission capacities in eastern Russia, which will eventually be integrated with the infrastructure in the country’s European part. This project will provide additional reliability and flexibility in gas supplies to domestic consumers, unlocking new opportunities to expand gas infrastructure in the Siberian and Far Eastern regions.
In 2025, the construction of the project’s first phase, the Belogorsk—Khabarovsk gas trunkline, reached 64% completion. It will interconnect the existing Power of Siberia and the Sakhalin—Khabarovsk—Vladivostok gas trunklines. Among other benefits, the interconnector pipeline will pave the way for gas infrastructure expansion into the cities of Belogorsk (Amur Region) and Birobidzhan (Jewish Autonomous Region).
To ensure gas supplies for future consumers in eastern Russia, Gazprom has been consistently building up its resource base. Specifically, the development of two new fields in the Yakutia gas production center, Tas-Yuryakhskoye and Verkhnevilyuchanskoye, continued in 2025.
Enhanced power supply reliability for consumers in St. Petersburg and Western Siberia, and continued operations in Yakutia and the Amur Region
The Gazprom Group provides reliable and sustainable electricity and heat to Russian households and businesses. To meet the growing needs of Russian regions, PJSC Gazprom has been consistently upgrading its existing capacities and building new power generation facilities.
In the reporting year, PJSC Gazprom completed the construction of a new hot-water boiler house at power plant No. 2 of the Centralnaya CHPP in St. Petersburg and switched consumers to it. Over 500,000 residents and 100 organizations in the city’s historical center were connected to a modern heat supply facility.
In 2025, PJSC Gazprom completed a comprehensive upgrade of two power units, No. 13 and No. 16, at Surgutskaya GRES-1 in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area — Yugra. The capacity upgrade enhanced the reliability and bolstered the security of Western Siberia’s energy system.
In the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in December 2025, PJSC Gazprom began installing the main generating equipment at the Southern Yakutia TPPThe project is being implemented by the Gazprom Group’s joint venture., which is currently under construction. The new 313 MW TPP will ensure power supply to the infrastructure of Russian Railways’ Eastern Operating Domain.
In the Amur Region, the reporting year saw the launch of a capacity expansion project at the Svobodny TPPThis project will be implemented by the Gazprom Group’s joint venture.. Its total capacity will increase from 160 MW to 610 MW.
Strengthened positions in the Chinese gas market, the most promising market globally
PJSC Gazprom delivers reliable Russian gas supplies to China under the largest contract in the history of the national gas industry. On May 30, 2025, the cumulative volume of supplies via the Power of Siberia gas trunkline reached 100.00 bcm of gas since its launch.
In the reporting year, pipeline exports totaled 38.84 bcm of gas, up 24.8% year-on-year.
In September 2025, PJSC Gazprom and China’s CNPC signed several documents, including the Strategic Cooperation Agreement, to broaden the scope of their collaboration
Launched an innovative project in corporate healthcare
The first corporate Simulation Center training the Gazprom Group’s medical personnel opened at the occupational healthcare department of the Gazprom Corporate Institute. The center features three classrooms equipped with high-tech simulation gear, an immersive emergency zone, a virtual clinic, robust IT infrastructure, and a video surveillance system.
Confirmed the strength of PJSC Gazprom’s corporate governance
The Expert RA rating agency reaffirmed PJSC Gazprom’s governance quality rating at the highest level of A++.gq. The factors driving this decision included the robust organization of collegial governance bodies and the effectiveness of the risk management and internal control, corporate ethics, and labor relations management systems.

Conducted massive emergency prevention and response drills
Several stages of the Safe Arctic 2025 drills took place at PJSC Gazprom facilities in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area. Held under the guidance of the Russian EMERCOM, the drills engaged the resources and personnel of subsidiaries and entities. The exercises tested the efficiency of rescue, specialized, and robotic equipment at low temperatures, and enabled participants to practice joint operations between interdepartmental and corporate governance bodies.
Opened Russia’s first Table Tennis Academy
In 2025, PJSC Gazprom opened Russia’s first Table Tennis Academy in Orenburg, offering boarding and professional training for gifted young athletes from various regions. Built under the auspices of the Gazprom for Children project, the facility is located next to Russia’s largest Table Tennis Center, which was opened by the Gazprom Group in 2013. The Center and the Academy have been transferred to the Orenburg Region as a single property. A state-run extracurricular education institution, the Sports Boarding School for Gifted Children No. 7 — Table Tennis Academy, was established at the Center.
Solidified PJSC Gazprom’s involvement in developing the national restoration school
A Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Ministry of Culture, the State Russian Museum, and PJSC Gazprom, providing for the development of a national restoration school. The State Russian Museum serves as the coordinating hub for the national restoration school’s development projects. PJSC Gazprom’s experience gained from the Friends of St. Petersburg project will lay the groundwork for nurturing a new generation of restorers and passing on the invaluable expertise of the country’s finest specialists.
Created unique museum exhibitions
With the support of PJSC Gazprom, the State Hermitage Museum finalized the creation of 11 exhibition halls for the Gallery of Peter the Great in the Winter Palace Courtyard. Furthermore, a joint project between PJSC Gazprom and the Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography (Kunstkamera) of the Russian Academy of Sciences delivered new exhibitions on the fourth and fifth floors of the Kunstkamera tower: the Astronomical Observatory and the Planetarium: Gottorf Globe.
