One of Russia’s Largest Taxpayers

The Gazprom Group is consistently among Russia’s largest taxpayers. For the reporting year, the Gazprom Group entities transferred RUB 4,196.5 billion to the Russian budget system.

PJSC Gazprom implements a single tax policy and ensures uniformity in tax law application by the Gazprom Group entities. PJSC Gazprom and the Gazprom Group entities independently determine their tax liabilities and bear responsibility for compliance with applicable tax laws.

In 2024, efforts continued regarding the transition of Gazprom Group entities to the tax monitoring system. 26 organizations were connected to Nalog 3 automated information system, a unified domestically-sourced solution for interactions with tax authorities. Since early 2025, an additional 21 participants have joined tax monitoring. The total number of tax monitoring participants within the Group now stands at 97.
